I've been wacthing now for about 6 months how the democratic and republican campaigns have matured and evolved to the situation America now faces with its economy, foregin policies, and domestic issues( such as healthcare ect.) But I want to point out before you read on, I WAS a staunch republican, in fact I still am, conservitave to heart, and when John Mccain was the rep. nominee, I was already making phone calls to people I didnt know and rallying them to the republican party. Yet after Sarah Palin was choosen as the VP for reps I started to wonder. Mccain is over 70, he has heart issues and has been give a 25% chance of not seeing the end of his four years in office if hes elected. Now I was hoping the media would cacth on , but they didnt explain the situation as I would have liked. This gov. from Alaska is a few feet away from the presidency and she is still learning the ins and outs to political power on the national level. I would really like some input of your thoughts on her, should America give this "so called Maverick" a chance to govern this nation. I have since rallied to Obama and his ticket with Sen. Biden being the dem. VP. I do not agree on many of this tickets strategys for the next 4 years, but I am sure that these next few years with them will be well advised and governed in the affairs of all the topics I listed above. Please do not flame me as newly spawned liberal, I love this country as much as you, but I do not want it to be by chance in the hands of person who thinks dinosaurs and humans once lived with each other.

My son refuses, once again, to go for visitation stating emotional neglect and abuse, some possibly physical from hard s that hurt his backside and arm. There are police reports on file that prove he is making his own choices not to go and its reported why he refuses. I AM NOT STOPPING HIM FROM GOING, I have actually tried to get them to work things out to no avail. My older daughter, now on her own, did the same thing and refused to visit when she was this age due to the same issues. Now the father TOLD my son he was told by a lawyer that he can have me thrown in jail for violating the custody order, but I'm not violating it, I would have to be violating it by making my son not go with his father. I suspect the father is telling this lawyer that I'm denying visitation when that's not true and he knows it, he's talked to my son himself.

My cats used to live in the countryside with me. As a result, they became very skillful at hunting - even with bells on their collars. However, time has ped, I now live in the suburbs of Manchester, my cats are getting old and the weather has been quite hot recently. I was summoned Sept. 26 (Saturday) and have 30 calendar days to answer. No doubt I am going to file an answer with the courts. The question is....on the summons, the plaintiff is: "Company A " (I'll just call it that for now) when in fact on my credit report it says its a charge-off. The debt collection agency is the attorney representing "Company A" and the atty's name an BAR# is on the summons. The summons is legit as I verified it with the local courts. So, question #1...Why is "Company A" still listed as the Plaintiff? Question #2 - Can "Company A" really still be the plaintiff? or is the underlying "real party" is the debt collection agency? I'm filling out an Answer - Contract form but I'm confused with what to put on the form. First off, I want to deny the allegations that I owe the debt to the debt collecting agency because there is no agreement or contract. Can I do that? But I did have a debt with "Company A" which is stated as the Plaintiff on the summons...what can I say on the summons that would help me in my defense?

I really need help finding good books to read for school. My school instituted this program called "Accelerated Reader". If you haven't heard about this program, basically a student will read a book, take a test on the book, and earn points based on how well they did on the test, and you have to earn a certain number of points every semester. Anyway, I need help finding some books to read. I really like mystery novels. I liked the Harry Potter books, the Da Vinci Code, and a manga series called Death Note because they were all mysteries. However, our teacher asked us at the beginning of the year which of us had read the Harry Potter books, and those that said yes can't take a test on it. I took the test on the Da Vinci Code already, and Death Note is not available for tests (only certain books have tests for them). Any suggestions?

Our members have hundreds of years of stitching experience and my personal experience is 50 years! Hope I can help. I suggest you first recognize your skill level. If you are just starting out, using baby sport or yarn can be a challenge. These yarns produce a beautiful lightweight to airy (depending on pattern) finished item. The lighter weight yarn can be a little harder for a beginner to use (like a child learning to write with a no. 2 pencil; usually the learner does better with a thicker pencil because it's easier to grip and control). 4ply, worsted weight yarn and sport yarns are usually used in making afghans. It's perfectly okay for baby blankets, especially if you are making one that is crib size, or one you'd like the baby to use through childhood. I agree with some of the suggestions you were given by others about yarn brands. Caron Simply Soft yarn is great to work with, very soft, but it does tend to stretch more than I like to see in a blanket, especially when the item is large. Caron "Paints" doesn't seem to have this result. It tends to hold shape better. I love working with Vanna's Choice by Lion Brand. It is uniform, has good substance and workability and has produced very acceptable mittens, hats and afghans for me and is a good value for the money. I can say the same about Bernat yarns. Red Heart is an old standby. Their TLC is preferrable to the regular 4 ply worsted (it is a bit rough), but any yarn will soften up when machine washed and dried and softened with dryer sheets or liquid softener. Remember, follow manufacturers' directions about laundering (I include them with the gift, and a lingerie bag for washing the item). There is nothing worse than to spend time, energy and money to make a handmade item, and have it ruined because it didn't hold up in the wash! Todays synthetic and some wools are made to be machine laundered, but it doesn't hurt to help a little by using a lingerie bag to protect the item from snags. Even if the item isn't intended for long use by a baby, mom or dad may want to hold onto it for a keepsake and baby might want to use it again one day when she has a little one. Another consideration is fiber content. I recommend using only synthetic or cotton yarn (or blends) for babies. Wools can involve allergies and nylon in a high content can chafe tender skin. Good luck with the project. Be sure to contact The Handiwork Ministry if we can be of help to you. If you are buying your yarn at a yarn shop rather than a discount store or caraft store, you can get support for your work. The store owner or manager is usually knowledgable in at least the basics of knitting and crocheting.

About seven weeks ago I started to notice a particular problem. This problem is I continue to have violent thoughts about hurting people(and by hurting I mean killing) especially the people that I love, such as my mother and father. Why does my combi boiler keeps losing pressure?

What could be wrond with my air conditioner?

I live in an apartment complex, and recently, i have had problems with my air conditioner. I dont get any air through my vents at all. its an outside unit, and upon inspection, i found that copper pipes coming from the condenser and becoming exposed and starting to freeze up. the motor and fan are both running, and i have let it thaw several times, but it always end up freezing. i also cant get it to run in "fan" mode. (no heat or cooling, just pumps air.) but that wont give me any air either. i fear it may be an issue with the charge or the coil, but then i would even be able to get heat. my intake vents are clean, and open, but still no resolution. im going to speak to my landlord this week, but i wanted to get a little more insight. please help!!

i have a dell 2400 series computer for 2 years now and i only have one problem with it which developed only a few weeks now it seams that when ever my system is on i have to keep changing the settings on the video of the monitor because the screen would some times move to the left,i then have to bring it back to the center but even when its to the center its not fixed correctly because the edges of the screen where the time and the start menu are located the words,icons are all slanted and smaller than the rest of the page and when i start up the pc it appears all messed up and the the screen slowly starts to pull to the right then all of a sudden the page would disappear with a white flash. the white flash would sometimes fall to the bottom and disappear and leave only darkness but when the start up is complete the screen reappears but its still not the way its suppose to be is it my video card? or is it the monitor? can it be fixed ? pleaze give some advice

I married a man who was raised with no religion at all. He grew up believing that Christmas truly was about Santa Claus as his parent don't believe in Jesus or any God for that matter, but like the whole Christmas thing. Anyhow, he seems interested in learning more about Christianity, but I'm Catholic & it isn't his cup of tea. Although I've read the bible most of my life & have plenty of them in my home he's not likely to pick one up & read it as even though he's a smart guy, he's not a very good reader nor is he big on intellect & I think phrases such as " your word is like a lamp unto my feet...." would not only bore him, but he wouldn't get it or bother to read the footnotes like I do. From what little I've seen over the years about the Baptist faith, it seems very straight forward & to the point-simple. However, two other very charitable religious groups that many people overlook is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) and the Mennonites. As I said, I'm proud of Catholic charities, but am also impressed with the istance rendered by Mormons and Mennonites in times of crisis. In times of real crisis, the Catholics have been there...and so have the Mormons, Mennonites, Lutherans, Episcopalians and others. In my area, the Episcopalians have many charities. The really nice thing is seeing people work side by side to help others, despite denominational differences.

I used to work at a vet clinic and I can't tell you how many cats we saw who were named Felix. If you want a more original name, just think of names of characters in your favorite movies, TV shows or books, or names of your favorite foods or names that are connected with interests that you have. Why do the hydraulics get weaker the longer I run my new holland skid steer?

so for the past week and a half. i have havent had a normal solid bm. it started out with small pebble like stools, that made up about a small soild bm. then after that i took some dulcolax, and only had diarrhea. i went to the doctor after 3-4 days. and he said to take miralax and a enema. and to eat more fiber. and to also stop eating junk food cause i have a unhealthy eating habit with fastfood/junkfood. so i took the enema, with no luck. and sense i got constipated i stopped eating junk food. i did have one fast food meal. and now its a just over a week and a half with no solid bm. i do go to the bathroom about 2-3 times a day. but only having small pebble like stools. or diarrhea. i dont feel any pain in my abdomen. i sometimes feel slightly bloated. nothing to noticeable. i can also p gas with ease. is it possible that im not constipated? i only get like this once or twice a year. the thing is i didnt change anything in my lifestyle before this. other then i quit staying up all night and started to go to bed at a normal time. but right now i have a bad cold. and im taking miralax with occasional mineral oil. im also drinking prune and plum juice. why does my constipation always last longer then a week?

I actually have pretty good skin. It doesn't seem dry but there's little flaky parts around and on my nose and on my cheeks. Moisturizer makes it disappear at first but doesn't really help. It sometimes reappears when I put foundation or makeup on my face and if not, it does after wearing the makeup for a few hours.. If there's nothing I can do that's okay. well I know nothing about the topic, but you need reliable sources right? You have to find peer-edited journals. I am uming you are in college. Your university should have a library page.. for example my school's is lib.wayne.edu. You should be able to find yours. from there, log in and you should have a link to different journals. The problem is, you really are not supposed to be able to access them unless you are in a library or logged on to a library's site, so I don't know how else you could get them.

Ah, YES I see your point. And many guitar players today just turn up the distortion and rip out crap, while MOST kids your age are listening to it, saying Beethoven and such are boring. They have no clue of the extreme talent and excitement that this music brings and do not appreciate it. On the same lines, there is a whole lot of GOOD, exciting music out there today that's just as good if not better. Yes, if you start sifting your way through the crap, occasionally you'll find a gem. Clical music is soothing to my soul and I love playing the stringed instruments I play or just listening to it, but at the same time, I enjoy the PUMP from rock n roll. It's not all bad and jazz is every bit as good, as is country etc.,etc., Do yourself a favor, keep the clical music, it's fantastic, but don't have blinders to other types of music, you're only cheating yourself. Ok. I realize that the best solution is just to go out and get my dream job - but, reality is, that's not going to happen. I'm single, and I have kids to raise. My new job (only a couple months) pays really well, and allows me holidays & weekends with my children. In fairness, I have "caught" my terrible attitude from my co-workers, who already had hostile, aggressive attitudes when I got here. I've already burned out on the backstabbing, gossipy, sneaky, destructive style so many of them seem to have (due to an extremely rude and arrogant owner who's business philosophy is to pit employees against each other).If results don't come, he closes the door and screams at people, berating them to tears. I hate it, because my style is so much more co-operative and empathetic. (I have one employee who adores me and swears he'll quit if I leave). I've gotten to the point though, where I'm not even interested in "helping" these people improve their disfunctional work family, because I simply don't like them enough after the constant insult trading and finger pointing I've endured. SO - I want to stay for the paycheck, but, I'm afraid I'm going to fly off the handle soon and tell someone to F--- Off and get the hell outta my face. Or, I will be forced to pen up my unhappiness and will eventually implode under the strain....I would prefer to create a mental oasis of calm that is all my own, to shield my from the barrage of negativity around me, but I don't know how to do that.
