Sociology "Medium" statistics question.?

I was igned a homework yesterday where I was given 10 statistical numbers. The 10 numbers were hypothetical surveyed answers of how many times men cheated on their wives. I was asked to interpret the mean, medium, and mode. I understand the mean(Average), and Mode(most common answers). I know the medium means the middle response, but I dont understand its significance in relation to the question. If someone could help me I would aprrecaite it
