My boyfriend told me he really likes girls in heels but i hate wearing them...?

i own one pair and they aren't that high. it's not so much that i don't lke wearing them it's just that most of the places i go out heels would be a bit dressy and none of my friends wear them much so i would look way overdressed and too tall next to them. I want to wear them for him because he really likes them but i don't feel comfortable just going to the pub in them. what should i do? Is there a good compromise?
