On the Aztec and Mayan calendars they are written on stone, which end at the beginning of the calender......?

.....what if since they ran out of room so they made a second calender of which we have not found or is hidden from us so we think the "prophecies" are true. And think of this......what if the persons who did the calenders died and never told anyone else what the other prophecies were so they couldn't be recorded. (I know it blew my mind too when i thought about it)
