What is the best hockey skates for me?

Hey! Well I just started hockey a few months ago, and I think I am about ready to get my own skates, since everyone else at my level has their own too. Anyways, I bought a pair of ccm, like supertacks60 or something like that, and they feel really weird to me. I got them sharpened, and I could barely skate in them. It feels really uncomfortable and rocks backwards really fast, so the guy who worked there took some of the edge off because he thought that was the problem. But, I still felt really weird in them, like I couldn't skate at all, stops etc... So does anyone know of a simple skate that would work for me? I'm a 15 year old girl, I wear like a size 7 or 8, and I have wide feet. Thanks and sorry my words are so jumbled!
