Why do high schoolers make a big deal out of it?

A lot of high schoolers make a big deal out of things. Such as boys, friends and looks. I must admit I had my moments, but geez some girls at my high school used to always have drama. I was into boys, but I didn't let it interfere with my life. Perhaps this is why you see teenage girls having kids and people turning "emo," 'cause they are depressed inside or want to exscape from society
